Training at CTC@Robertson

CTC@Robertson runs a training program consisting of courses ranging from basic computer skills to more advanced IT skills, multimedia, general interest courses and workshops. The centre can also find trainers to suit the needs of individual study groups, associations or conference organisers.

The IT training room of the CTC has 6 networked PCs, while the multimedia room has two Macintosh computers, including a Powermac complete with photo and video editing software.

The customers of the CTC have access to high speed Internet, powered by a combination of a one-way satellite and ISDN. Fees for internet use and workstation hire are very reasonable, with reduced fees for concession card holders.

From Summer 2005, the IT training room hosts regular network games nights for the young.
