The CTC Robertson has received funding under the Wingecarribee ClubGRANTS Program to be able to offer a subsidised Accidental Counsellor workshop for residents of the Robertson community.
At times in our professional and personal lives, we are faced with distressed or grieving people and we are often unsure what to do or how to help them. We get stuck trying to work out what is appropriate or what is not. We wonder how we can help them, in what way we can guide them or assist them to find workable solutions to the challenges in their lives.
This workshop is designed to equip participants with a significant life skill – helping others wherever they are: at work, in the family home, in the community or in any situation or place where a person appears distressed or upset.
This popular, interactive one day workshop looks at various topics inherent in accidental counselling.
Key Outcomes include:
Time 9.30am am to 4 pm
Cost $25
Location CTC Robertson 58 - 60 Hoddle St Robertson.
Bookings essential: www.trybooking.com/BYMSM
